Frequently Asked Questions
How Up To Date Are These?
This page was last updated in April 2022.
Does Seaworld Publish These Restrictions?
In a roundabout sort of way yes, you can find a list on the Seaworld Parks corporate website. The Busch Gardens website will make you look at each attraction individually.
How Can I Experience The Ride If My child is Too Small To Ride?
Seaworld and Busch Gardens operates a child swap facility within their parks. Each park operates in a slightly different way but out of all the main parks in Orlando these are the most generous with your time.
Seaworld Or Busch Gardens, Which Is Best For Young Children?
Both parks offer plenty for younger visitors with a huge focus on animals and conservation. Seaworld focuses on marine wildlife while Busch Gardens Tampa is themed to Africa with a huge selection of wild animals to find.
Older children will want to ride the bigger rides at Busch Gardens but Seaworld also has some of the best roller coasters in Orlando if you would rather not travel the 1 hour west to Tampa.
What About Disabilities?
Seaworld was the first certified autism theme park in the U.S. A 22-page document can be downloaded from the ride accessibility program section of the Seaworld website which also has contact information for further help. Busch Gardens also has it’s own ride accessibility program.
Is This Every Ride With Restrictions?
Seaworld and Busch Gardens are frustrating websites to get any clear information out of. The lists you see on this page are taken from the Seaworld Parks corporate website but I suspect there are more attraction restrictions than they list. If in doubt check the individual attraction page.
Is Rider Switch Available At Every Attraction In Seaworld & Busch Gardens
There is frustratingly very little information about child swap inside the parks on both Seaworld and Busch Gardens websites. It is best to assume that child swap is only available on the most popular and newer attractions. Ash an attraction host before entering the queue to be sure.
If Each Park Has It's Own Water Park Which Do I Choose?
Adventure Island in Tampa is a great water park but only if you are staying there on a twin-centre holiday. With the quality of other water parks around Orlando, it wouldn’t make sense to travel all that way for what you can get on your doorstep.
