Walking Distances
The physical aspect of walking around theme parks almost every day for 2 or more weeks comes as a surprise to many people. To illustrate the physical exertion, I use my Google Fit app to track my step count and distance walked in each park. I’ve crunched the numbers and the figures below represent my most recent visit to the park.

Insider Tips
Save Money On Food
Seaworld actively encourages you to bring water bottles to stay hydrated and you can refill them for free.
Small snacks are allowed as well but if you really want to save money on the lunch Seaworld has Picnic locker rentals for you to store your food in while you work up an appetite. The only snag is you have to exit the park to eat before re-entering to work off some calories.
Quick Queue For Slides
Aquatica doesn’t operate a virtual queueing system yet as Volcano Bay does but it does offer Quick Queue unlimited starting at $49 for 8 popular attractions.
The Quick Queue PLUS will also allow one ride on Ray Rush and Walhalla Wave. Like standard Quick Queue in Seaworld and Busch Gardens, this is one of the better value premium queueing options if you can stretch your budget.
Protect Yourself
Aquatica is a fantastic water park with a firm focus on families. Wide walkways with plenty of sunbeds dotted around but one thing it does lack is shade although they are apparently addressing that in 2022.
Make sure you bring something lightweight to cover yourself if you need a break from the sunshine. Suntan lotion is a definite, remember to bring your own from the UK as it is expensive here and especially when inside theme parks and water parks.
If you have sensitive feet, the concrete in Aquatica can get very hot in the midday sun so waterproof shoes or flip flops for walking around the park are recommended.
Also, don’t forget a waterproof camera to get some action shots. Aquatica is one of the more camera friendly water parks in Orlando and you may even be able to use it on some water slides.
