Universal Studios isn’t particularly strong on attractions for younger children. There has been a concerted effort with new attractions appealing to more of a family dynamic than outright thrills but a great many of the attractions in Universal Studios Florida still require quite a high minimum rider height. A rumoured Dreamworks Animation area could balance some of the criticism now that Woody Woodpecker’s Kid Zone closed permanently in January 2023 although there has been no official announcement of a replacement as yet.
