Infinity Falls, like Mako, will also boast its own world record in the tallest river rapid drop in the world. The new aquatic adventure will be heavily themed to a rainforest river setting. Riders will experience category 4 rapids before a vertical elevator lift, another first for a rapids ride in the fiercely competitive Orlando Theme Park market.

Seaworld told News 6, a local affiliate station, that the new attraction will “be unlike anything else”. Brian Morrow, Seaworld’s Vice President of theme park design experience added, “We developed Infinity Falls to tell new stories that showcase the beauty and sheer power of water and the amazing wildlife that lives in it”.

Infinity Falls will be the centrepiece of a brand new area being constructed that is currently occupied by a flamingo pond and fast food restaurant. Seaworld added in a news release, “The entire family can explore the village and take part in interactive experiences that combine play with education to create a positive impact on freshwater ecosystems”.

Infinity Falls is the latest investment in a multi year program of change for the Seaworld brand as it seeks to move away from the stadium based animal experiences of yesteryear and create thrilling yet educational attractions to inspire a new generation of children to live in harmony with all earths creatures.

Infinity Falls joins the record setting hyper coaster Mako and Manta, a thrilling flying coaster experience mimicking how manta rays move in the oceans along with a queue line incorporating 184,000 gallons in 10 aquaria which opened to rave reviews in 2009. Completing the thrilling line up of ever expanding rides, then are joined by the 2 original rides to first debut at the park, Journey To Atlantis, the worlds first water coaster and Kraken, which at 140ft tall was the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in Orlando until the debut of Mako in 2016. 2017 also sees a new experience here as riders are to be given the option to don virtual reality headsets and fully immerse themselves in an under water battle whilst riding the roller coaster.

Infinity Falls is set to debut in summer 2018 only at Seaworld Orlando.
